Management teams from Secured Mail, CMS Network and P2P, gathered at The Delivery Group’s first Management Conference at the Luton Hoo on the 2nd February.
During his welcome address, Paul Carvell, Group Chairman, highlighted that we now have a strong and complete range of e-commerce and specialist mail services, which combined with the incredible range of customer focussed innovations we are currently investing in and our significant cross selling opportunities, mean that we truly are Stronger Together.
Delegates had a full and packed schedule of presentations during the afternoon, which included hearing from each of the CEO’s – Mark Bigley, Steve Stokes and Ian Dowie – followed by an in-depth Q&A session. James Wilkins, Group Operations & IT Director concluded the day by detailing the exciting range of leading edge customer focussed innovations, currently being developed across each of our companies.
Michael Owen, Group CFO charted the exceptional growth of the Group and Peter Wood from Next Wave gave delegates an interesting overview of other companies in their portfolio. Coolin Desai from PwC then showed delegates The Delivery Group’s position and strength in the global market place and James Potter, The LinkedIn Man, provided a great insight as to the opportunities presented by LinkedIn.
Beth Chapman, Sales Director of P2P introduced TRAKPAK™, P2P’s fully tracked parcel offering, to the suite of products we now have to offer as a Group.
Feedback from the conference has been very positive with over 92% saying that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the event and that they looked forward to repeating the event on an annual basis.
