What is the Black Friday and Christmas Incentive?

Black Friday is a relatively new phenomenon in the UK but has quickly established itself.  It’s taken over the traditional New Year’s sales period as a time when shoppers are willing to spend on discounted items.

 

Both Black Friday and Christmas produce a very important revenue stream for many retailers.  This new time limited incentive gives brands the opportunity to deliver their Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas and New Year related offers directly to the consumer’s doormat at a very competitive rate, and potentially drive retail footfall or online purchase during this important shopping period.  Prices for incremental Advertising Mail volume start at just 12 pence per item.

 

There are 6 mandatory requirements for entry to the Black Friday and Christmas Incentive:

  1. For Mailmark Advertising Mail & Partially Addressed Letters and Large Letters up to 250g
  2. No postcards
  3. Tray only
  4. Post at least 50,000 incremental items to qualify
  5. Black Friday incentive runs from 11th November until 30th Christmas runs from 11th November until 27th December
  6. Discount is paid as Postage Credits
