Why choose The Delivery Group to ship to New Zealand?

By working with us to ship your goods to New Zealand, you’ll be gaining a number of unique advantages that aren’t provided by other international courier services:

Time-specific, express delivery options

We understand that you’ll be looking for a low-cost service that can also offer you security and the fastest times for international shipping. After all, you may be on a deadline with a client or customer, or need to ensure that a set of important documents were handed over to their recipient. Fortunately, we are more than prepared to offer both, so no matter what you have chosen our service for, you can feel confident that we’ll provide it. With our express service, sending packages to New Zealand could take as little as 3-4 working days.

We are also proud to provide time-specific collections and deliveries, for when you need to make sure your packages arrive by a certain date. To give an example, if you need a package collected in London at a specified time, we can ensure that it arrives on its recipient’s doorstep in Auckland when it suits you best. All we’ll need from you is the correct address, the delivery and transit times, and the speed.

A personal account manager

In order to work as closely with you as we possibly can, we’ll assign you your very own personal account manager when you sign on with us. These expert team members will oversee every aspect of your delivery operations, from billing to customs and documentation, and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the process. They’ll also be able to help you delay or cancel deliveries when necessary.

Our account managers are there to support you throughout every part of the shipping process. They will also help you navigate deliveries on the busiest days of the years in trade and commerce, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Track your shipping progress with our app

We know that any worry you have about your packages arriving won’t be lifted until you know they’ve been received. Making sure you can track your goods in the modern era is the best way to give yourself peace of mind in the meantime, while also demonstrating the success of any chosen delivery companies or firms.

This is why we have created a free, downloadable app for our customers to use. All you will need to do is put in the tracking number we’ll give you and the app will give you an update on your items and their location. Alternatively, if you’d like to speak to one of our members of staff, you can also call our head office in London to find out more.

Our app is available to download from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.

Streamlined services for eCommerce purposes

If you’ve been searching for low-cost courier services to send anything from food and personal belongings to crates full of wine bottles and even larger items, we can show you the best options. This makes our services ideal for those looking to expand their UK eCommerce business. No matter if you’re only planning on sending a few packages sporadically, or need a regular service to send a steady stream of items, we will have the solution.

We are also glad to say that we’re a price-competitive firm. So, if you have been offered a cheap price online or lower rates from other companies, we are more than certain that we can match them. This will be done with absolutely no compromise on the quality of our services. To find out more, please see our page on eCommerce shipping.

What prohibitions and restrictions are in place in New Zealand?

There are a number of restricted and prohibited items that you cannot send to New Zealand. We have provided a list of some examples here, but for further clarification please consult the New Zealand Post website.

  • Animal products, including manures
  • Vegetable products
  • Live trees and other plants, including bulbs, roots, cut flowers and other ornamental foliage
  • Seeds
  • Fresh food, including citrus fruits
  • Residues and waste from food industries

Will I need to deal with customs in New Zealand?

Normally, any shipping to New Zealand would need you to deal with customs. However, by choosing to work with us, this will all be taken care of by our team.

Addressing packages when shipping to New Zealand

When shipping to New Zealand from the UK, you’ll notice some slight differences with the formatting of addresses. An address in New Zealand should be formatted as follows:

The name of the recipient

The “unit” (flat) or house/street number and name

The suburb

The town or city and postcode

The country

In practice, this would be written as:

Mr E. Brown

14 Puriri Avenue

Greenlane

Auckland 1051

NEW ZEALAND

If you’re sending your packages to a rural area, the suburb will be replaced by a “rural delivery number”, e.g. RD2.
