Our shipping service offers customers a range of benefits, many of which simply cannot be found when you’re considering other firms. These include:

Collection and delivery times tailored to your needs

How much does it cost to ship to Nigeria from the UK?

We are unable to offer fixed prices for shipping to Nigeria as we offer bespoke prices based on individual requirements. This way, we’re able to provide the best prices for our customers. That, and we work alongside international couriers (including the Royal Mail) to offer safe, secure and rapid transit times.

Your consignment price will depend on a few factors, such as weight, volume, speed of delivery and destination. However, if you’re looking for a ballpark price, you can expect to pay no more than £50kg for a 2kg package.

Know how to label and correctly address your package

Labelling your parcel, pallet or other consignments to Nigeria the correct way is essential for the safe delivery of your goods. Nigeria’s postal format differs to ours in the UK, so we’ve provided an example for you to copy below:

Basic Nigerian address format:

  • Recipient name/business name
  • Building name/number
  • Street name
  • Locality and/or postcode
  • Province
  • COUNTRY

How it should look:

  • Sadio Bony
  • 22 Bauchu Road, Yelwa
  • JOS 930284
  • Plateau
  • NIGERIA

If for whatever reason you are unable to label them yourself, please contact our team and one of our advisers will be able to help.

Customs clearances are taken care of

Certainly one of the biggest benefits you receive is the hassle and stress of dealing with customs clearances are completely alleviated. We take care of all customs duties to allow you to focus on running your business. This is now even more beneficial considering the UK has now left the EU.

Restrictions and prohibitions you needed to be aware of

As with any country, there are certain items you cannot send to Nigeria. Attempting to send these items will result in refusal into the country and the hassle and cost for sorting the issue is never appealing. We’ve included some of the restricted items that you need to be made aware of being shipping to Nigeria:

  • Cane or beet sugar
  • Chemically pure sucrose
  • Dead or alive poultry (this includes frozen poultry)
  • Cocoa butter
  • Pork, beef and birds eggs
  • An extensive list of medicaments (more information on this at Export.gov)
